    Curriculum Component:

The school follows an integrated character education and personal development curriculum from grades K-12. This is given by either teachers, or the counselor, or through collaboration between teacher and counselor. The aim of this curriculum is to develop students’ academic, personal/social, career, and global citizenship skills.

Individual Planning Component:

The counselor provides individual advisement and/or assessment to students. She participates in educational planning when needed, and career planning and orientation.

Responsive Services Component:

The counselor provides individual counseling to referred students, group counseling, consultation to staff/parents, crisis intervention, team meetings, classroom observations, peer mediation, letters of recommendation and report writing.

System Support:

The counselor along with other faculty members work together on program development, materials development, parent programs and public relations.
